A special congratulations goes out to all swimmers who competed at 'A' championships and brought home a third consecutive WSSL championship title.

WSA swimmers had a great meet, stepping up across the board to far outplace their seed times as well as the competition by over 800 points. It truly was a team effort where all swimmers chipped in to reel in the league title.

WSA swimmers captured the majority of age group titles while also placing runners up in several.

Age group titles:

9 &10 Boys
11 & 12 Girls
11 & 12 Boys
13 & 14 Girls
13 & 14 Boys
15 & Over Girls
15 & Over Boys

Age group runners up:

8 & Under Boys
9 & 10 Girls

WSA swimmers also teamed up to capture both medley relays as well as 4 of the 10 freestyle relays in addition to a few close nail biter finishes in other relays.

Congrats to all of our swimmers, both 'B' Champs & 'A' Champs for such a great & fun season end finale

Welcome to the New Board Members!!

Next season we were in need of five new Board Members. The position of President, Treasurer, Website Coordinator, Parent Liaison, and Registration Coordinator needed to be filled. I am pleased to announce the following people have filled those positions:

President-Eric Fichtel

Eric’s family has been a part of WSA for the last two seasons. His son Eric is a 10 year old on the team and next year his little brother will be trying out for the team.

Treasurer-Kristin Lindquist

The Lindquist family just completed their sixth season with WSA. Kristen has three sons named Justin, Dylan, and Andrew, who were in the 9/10s, 11/12s, and 13/14s this past season.

Website Coordinator-Kirk Williamson

Kirk’s family has been a part of the WSA community for the last six seasons as well. Kirk’s son Teddy is in the 13/14 boys age group.

Parent Liaison-Mary McNamara

The McNamara family just finished their third season with WSA. Mary has two children on the team. This past season Catherine was in the 11/12 age group and Patrick was in the 8 and under age group.

Registration Coordinator-Katherine Warming

Katherine’s family is new to WSA this year. Robert swam in the 11/12 age group.  We are hoping next season the two other Warming children join WSA!

Next season we are looking for an Event Coordinator. This person would head up the Pizza Party, Pep Rally, and Laser Tag. This position is a locker room exempt position. If you would like more information please email me at

Snapfish Photo update from the Bunce's

Photo Update:

1. Open the invite and click the "View Photos" button . This will bring you to the Snapfish web site.

2. One of two things will need to occur at this point:

A. If you already have an existing Snapfish account [which uses the same email address as the invite ], logging into that account will automatically 'link' the WSA photo albums to your Snapfish account.

B. If you do NOT have an existing Snapfish account, you will need to create one and the website will guide you through this very quick and easy process. Again, create this new account using the same email address to which the invite was sent.

3. Once you are in your Snapfish account, the WSA albums are accessible simply by clicking the "Photos" tab at the top of the page and then clicking "friends albums" on the left side of the page.

4. At that point, you should be able to view all of the WSA albums for this year. '2010' will present those photos we've taken to date this year. Each album represents an individual meet. Simply click on any of the albums to start viewing the contents and then enjoy! We will update you from time-to-time as new photos are uploaded to Snapfish.

5. When you are done viewing the albums, always remember to log out of your account simply by clicking "log out" in the top right hand corner of the page.

6. For subsequent visits to the WSA albums, DO NOT USE THE INVITE! Simply access the Snapfish web site [www.snapfish.com] and log into your account.

NOTE: The initial email ("invite") you received is the only one needed for the entire season of photos uploaded to the Snapfish web site. Use the invite only once to either link the WSA albums to your existing Snapfish account to Snapfish or to create a new account. Then discard the invite as it is not required anymore!
